Not Her

We’ve been quite busy over the past week. I finished plotting out and writing the vast majority of Chapter 2 and the comic is now planned out well into mid-2010. Becky has been hard at work on posters for music festivals and a couple of guest comics for our friends, as well as the gallery show we mention below in the blog.

Also our Kickstarter (the best and cheapest way for you to order our Tigerbuttah storybook, due April 2010) goal has been met! You wonderful people! However, we are now shooting for $7000, as it means we can print more books, which lowers the overall price and gets it into stores, libraries and so forth.

Also, I forgot to post this mixtape that we made last week. There are some oldies, some goodies and generally guitars are utilised throughout the whole ordeal. More comics this week!

You may have noticed a lack of updates recently! This is because we are working on pieces for a gallery show in Mooresville, North Carolina. Sadly, neither of us can attend the opening as we are in New Zealand, but if you wanted to go along. If you are in NC, drop us an e-mail.

The opening is 7pm on Saturday December 12th at the Hart Beat Gallery (148 Lugnut Lane, Unit 101).

It is a sequential gallery show, a 6-page storybook about a little donkey and a cowboy. There are also 3 smaller bonus pieces that I finished last night. Hope those of you in the area can get along to see it!

Also here is a quick painting of Hopscotch to tide you over till the new pages arrive:

We had a great time at the awesome Comics on K convention over the weekend!

It has been a week of guest fun for us. Please peruse our latest Penny Arcade guest offering. It is a little more risque than our usual material, so proceed with caution (all tomfoolery is in fact implied, do not worry too much).

We have a guest strip we did for PvP Guest Strip, with a Penny Arcade one coming sometime this week also. We will have a new comic on Tuesday morning for you all. Sorry we’re still on “crazy medical problems” time. Yes, it is a real timezone.

Howdy friends! We spent most of this week working on guest strips for Penny Arcade and PvP, which is a dream come true for us.

In our absence here, I thought I’d put together a new Tiny Kitten Teeth mixtape. Let us know if you like it!

Thanks again,
Frank
